Katharine Eggleston

Katharine Eggleston serves as GoTriangle’s Interim President & CEO, providing executive leadership for the agency and working with the Board of Trustees, staff, and regional partners to advance GoTriangle’s mission and strategic priorities.

Katharine joined GoTriangle in 2014 and has held leadership roles in development, planning, business transformation, and executive management. Most recently, as Deputy CEO, she supported implementation of the agency’s strategic plan, strengthened cross-department collaboration, and ensured integration of capital investment, service planning, public engagement, and partnership strategies to deliver enhanced regional mobility and support ridership growth.

Before joining GoTriangle in 2014, Katharine spent six years working as a transportation consultant to local and state governments and private clients. She holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering degree from Duke University and a master’s of civil engineering from North Carolina State University and is a licensed professional engineer. Katharine has been a frequent transit rider for nearly two decades and commutes regularly on GoTriangle Routes 700 and DRX.
