August 3, 2025 Service Changes
Raleigh Union Station Bus Facility (RUS Bus)
GoTriangle will open its new Union Station Bus Facility on August 3 in Downtown Raleigh. The new bus facility is located adjacent to the existing Raleigh Union Station. Many of GoTriangle’s routes are changing to serve this new facility.
Routes CRX, DRX, 300 and 305 will be realigned to begin and end inside the new station and will serve a variety of stops close to downtown and the GoRaleigh Station. GoTriangle Route 100 and GoRaleigh Routes 8, 9 and R-line will provide additional connections to and from GoRaleigh station from nearby stops on West Street and Harrington Street. Additional routes are also changing to serve riders.
Routes 300 and 305
- Route 305 will be extended to Downtown Raleigh and serve the new Union Station Bus Facility using Martin Street. The route will continue to serve Downtown Raleigh and stops near GoRaleigh Station. Two stops will be eliminated north of Martin Street. Once Hargett Street is reopened to two-way traffic, routes 300 and 305 will shift to Hargett Street.

November 2025 Proposed Service Changes
GoTriangle’s proposed changes to the WRX and ZWX routes would increase frequency, enhance access to prime destinations, and optimize microstransit options with the goal of boosting overall ridership and route utility. Changes to the WRX would serve riders traveling from Wake Forest via a route ending at Triangle Town Center yet maintaining connectivity to Downtown Raleigh. Changes to the ZWX would expand the hours of operation for riders traveling between Zebulon, Wendell, and Raleigh and include an option to reach GoTriangle’s new Raleigh Union Station Bus Facility (RUS Bus).
