Promoting EEO

Implementing EEO
GoTriangle takes specific steps to prevent unlawful discrimination, as well as the effects and appearance of unlawful discrimination. GoTriangle’s EEO Program includes an action plan to address areas of underutilization as required by FTA Circular 4704.1a. GoTriangle also makes reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities and religious observances to the extent that such accommodation does not create undue hardships upon the agency’s general operations.
The Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance is responsible for preparing and monitoring the implementation of GoTriangle’s EEO program. GoTriangle’s EEO policy statement is signed and issued by the agency’s President and Chief Executive OfficeR (CEO). Consistent with this policy, GoTriangle continues to recruit, hire, train and promote applicants and employees in all job classifications without regard to race, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity and sexual orientation), age (40 and over), religion, disability, genetic information, retaliation, veteran status or any other status or classification protected by applicable laws.
