Katharine Eggleston| Deputy CEO
In her role as GoTriangle’s Deputy CEO, Katharine Eggleston helps advance GoTriangle’s strategic priorities by providing executive leadership for planning and development, communications, and other areas as needed to provide leadership continuity. Working closely with the CEO, Katharine supports implementation of the agency’s strategic plan, strengthens cross-department collaboration, and ensures integration of capital investment, service planning, public engagement, and partnership strategies to deliver enhanced regional mobility and support ridership growth.
Before joining GoTriangle in 2014, Katharine spent six years working as a transportation consultant to local and state governments and private clients. She holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering degree from Duke University and a master’s of civil engineering from North Carolina State University and is a licensed professional engineer. Katharine has been a frequent transit rider for nearly two decades and commutes regularly on GoTriangle Routes 700 and DRX.
