In September 2017, GoTriangle hosted two public open houses. The meetings were held after GoTriangle received approval from the Federal Transit Administration to move into the design phase of the light-rail project.
The purpose of the meetings was to share new information and updates on the project’s design that had developed since the previous public meeting. The meeting also provided an update on the progress that had been made in the engineering process and highlighted the newly proposed Blackwell-Mangum Station.
