Raleigh Union Bus Station Facility (“RUS Bus”), GoTriangle’s newly-opened transit hub located in the Warehouse District, has been named a recipient of the 2025 Imprint Award on behalf of the Downtown Raleigh Alliance. The Imprint Awards celebrate development projects that make a significant impact on Downtown Raleigh’s growth, design and vitality. GoTriangle was recognized with the Imprint Award at the State of Downtown Raleigh event on Thursday, August 28.

“It’s truly an honor that our Raleigh Union Bus Station Facility is recognized for its impact on Downtown Raleigh and for citizens and public transit users throughout the Triangle,” said Brian Smith, GoTriangle President and CEO. “We are grateful to the Downtown Raleigh Alliance for this award, and we’re excited to watch how RUS Bus positively transforms public transportation and our growing region in the coming years.”

Strategically located right beside Raleigh Union Station train facility, RUS Bus was designed to serve the ever-growing Triangle region with high-quality public transportation offerings and serve as the new hub for GoTriangle. The station officially began offering bus service on August 3, 2025. Highlights of RUS Bus include: six bays for passengers and two layover bays; waiting areas; passenger amenities and public restrooms; bike parking and bike racks and lockers; accommodations for future GoRaleigh Bus Rapid Transit; roadway improvements; and GoTriangle bus service improvements.
