Based on current weather and road conditions, GoTriangle is altering bus service on Saturday January 7 to support safe operation.
GoTriangle will operate routes 100, 400, 700 and 800 from 8:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, starting later and ending early. GoTriangle's route 300, operated by GoCary, will not run, because all Saturday service has been suspended in Cary.
As conditions could potentially deterioriate throughout the day and the weekend, we urge customers to continue checking for updates on service before heading to the bus stop:
- Visit www.gotriangle.org to sign up for rider alerts
- Call the Regional Call Center at 919-485-RIDE (7433).
- Visit us on Facebook and Twitter (@GoTriangle)
- Track bus locations and arrivals in real time by downloading the TransLoc Rider app
Follow this advice to stay safe when the weather is inclement:
- Before heading to a bus stop, GoTriangle encourages customers to dress in layers of warm clothes and wear slip-resistant footwear in case your bus is delayed. (In bad weather, buses may be behind schedule because operators are asked to drive slowly and put safety first.
As safety is our first priority, we recommend arriving at your bus stop 10 minutes early and always walk, never run. In addition, keep at leats 15 feet between you and the bus as it approaches and until it comes to a complete stop; and use the handrails when stepping on and off the bus as it can be slippery.
Thanks for riding with GoTriangle!
